Marge Levine

Marge Levine, trained as a textile designer, is a New Jersey based artist who has worked in many graphic media, and her work has been shown in galleries throughout the East Coast. Now a member of the Degas Pastel Society, she currently works primarily in pastels, has had several on woman shows and has illustrated several books. Now concentrating on landscapes, she brings a rich sense of design and color to her study of the quiet beauty of farmland, woods, streams and ocean. Her meticulous attention to detail works within larger formal structures that render light and form in ways particularly enhanced by pastels.
