Jay Seldin
"The photographs I create bridge the practice of 'pictorial' photography and the tradition of documentary photography.
My approach to picture making is derived from my strong sense of 'series and sequence.' My work is always evolving with a variety of styles. I believe in a sociological and formalist approach to my photography.
The photographic prints that I create have a warm visual impact that reinforces the sensitivity of the beautifully hand-crafted Black and White toned pigment prints."
Jay Seldin's honors and exhibitions are numerous, and he has over thirty years experience as a professional exhibiting photographer/digital media artist and teacher of photography/digital media.
